I-N-T-E-Let Him Drink.

The health that results from water

Drawn from the endless well is anything but

Superficial. Buckets cranked down on rope

Fed through one of man's

Great inventions, the pulley, dips

Wooden lips to submerge below liquid

Levels. Filling crevices, quenching

Thirst of empty spaces, then

Drawn up by strength of human

Energy, PULLING PULLING!

-Significant means of Sustenance-

Despite every effort, man is

Infinitely bound by his animal self,

His physical self he cannot divorce

(Despite his efforts to do so).

He bends to take a drink.

Time Come, and Gone.

I often dread the weight of week beginnings,

As though I sign my life away with each

Approaching Monday.

Sacrificial soul, lost to weekend warriors who

Live only when time is free.

American work week, work ethic, work dream.

Sometimes we are human, sometimes

Weeks bring out the weakness and

Months fold into Monotonous collections;

Conditions unfold and pass by with the

Tick of the clock.
