Where the Dark Side of Wonderland came from.

The cold that came upon Entering rapidly
Gripped my bones, shook me, whispered
"Leave, don't ask questions, he Lied!"

My head lulls back, I feel the pressure on
My weak chest- and stand-determinedly, I start a fire.
"Your insides- you see, they are quite normal!
Can't you see from up here, the fire in your belly?"
What fire- I put it here! Give me credit, my fire, I built
That fire in piles of wet Autumn leaves!
"No, it was always here- I've been watching it
For years. Warm yourself, my dearest friend!"
Disbelieving, I trudge to the heart of the matter-
It beats rhythmically, it pumps, its strength eminated from
MY CORE.
"See that beautiful thing there, don't be deceived. Sometimes
It shows Signs of Weakness. Maybe Only I can see."
The heart- the Heart is Strong. It is the center, the
Bottom, the driver, the survivor! What does this have
to do with the Darkness of Wonderland?
I chased up the spine, to the roots of neural wanderings.
"Precious system, precious Minds! How beautiful-
BEAUTIFUL! Look at the sunrise, like Northern lights!"

Brightest days on beaches, like the sun, like the
Warmth of the fire! "
But what about the infamous 'Dark Side'?
"I was wondering why you sought the light; There
Is never Darkness here. NeveR. What were you looking for?"
I sit and bask in the light- I drink it up-
I cup pools of it into my hands, I bathe in it;
What would the world do if it knew- I drink it!
I memorize it- I put it Secretly into pockets to
Be treasured, saved, Remembered. I write it into
Stories, capture it, Share it- Give it.
"It's not just from this place. Everything Convenes
Here. Welcome to your Wonderland."
What valleys of Relief, of Joy, of
Shock- This light, I'm Blinded!
A body package, a wisdom warrior-
A vessel for transportation, it cradles my
Wonderland.
If Only I could capture the birds and
Hold Conversations with them.
